It would be helpful if you offered, perhaps for pay, a web based version for the desktop.

This is a great idea, but we don’t currently have any plans to build a web-based version of PackPoint. We are focused 100% on iPhone and Android.

it would also be great to be able to edit the list online – so much easier to type on a keyboard rather than a small mobile screen.
