Be able to hide to "location" at the top of the packing list and the "customize List" button at the bottom of the list
Be able to hide to "location" at the top of the packing list and the "customize List" button at the bottom of the list, they take up too much room. The customize feature is already in the drop down menu.

have lists that can be checked off by another person
I would like to be able to use the app between 2 users - so that my husband and I could both use the list to pack shared things and check off items on the shared list. So many other apps do for similar lists you should really consider

Add family members
How about being able to add family members with their own independent lists. And adding more activities. That would make the app perfect.
4 votesThanks for the idea of adding family members. Unfortunately we won’t be adding this functionality, so I wanted to update you on this.
PackPoint does support custom activities now, which was part of your idea post.

Sorry to say, our work on an iPad version of PackPoint has been canceled. We will continue focusing all efforts on phones.

This would be awesome to do, but unfortunately impossible to execute. PackPoint would need to know your luggage dimensions and the dimensions of every item in the packing list.

Import trips from Worldmate or Worldmatee Gold
Gave up on Thu put a while back and love Worldmate. I wouldn't change trip planning apps for anything, but would love it if my Packpoint Premium could import from WorldMate.
3 votesHi Dan, thanks for the great idea! Totally agree about having Worldmate support in PackPoint. We tried to do that a while back, but Worldmate charges developers quite a bit of money to access their developer platform, so we had to abandon the idea. Luckily TripIt allows us to integrate with their service for free. :)

Hi Chris, thanks for submitting this idea! Unfortunately the global market share of Windows Phone doesn’t justify the huge investment required to get PackPoint running on it. The iTunes App Store and Google Play store are the only two with sufficiently large distribution capabilities at the moment.
Maybe we’ll get lucky and WIndows Phone will support running Android apps some day. :)

Can you please make your app accessible for people who are using VoiceOver in iOS. All people should have access to your app.
PackPoint should work with VoiceOver in iOS
3 votesHi Roger, this would be awesome to support. Unfortunately, PackPoint doesn’t have the budget for this, and probably won’t for a while, if ever. If that ever changes, then accessibility will be on our roadmap!

add import/export functions or external edit functionality
I would like to edit items and groups in a more convenient way than with a small mobile device. Importing and Exporting the packlists as text files (or whatever) would allow editing lists with a pc. As an alternative, and even better ;), editing lists in a website in the internet would be very handy.
3 votesGreat idea, but it is too far beyond our current scope of how PackPoint is meant to work. WIll keep it in mind for the long-term, but it is unlikely that we’ll ever support this, sorry.

Packpoint for windows phone
Will you be developing a PackPoint for Windows 8.x so I can use it on my phone or tablet?
3 votesHi Cliff, sorry to bear bad news, but we won’t be developing PackPoint for Windows Phone anytime soon. We are only going to support Android and iOS for the foreseeable future.

It would be nice if we could create sub-groups in the activities.
It would be nice if we could create sub-groups in the activities.
3 votesThanks for the idea! It is a good idea, but goes beyond what we have in mind for how complex PackPoint should be.

Create ability to recycle lists from the Trip Archives.
We can view old lists in the Trip Archives now but how about the ability to use them to populate a new list? It is tedious to add the same 20 items to your suggested items each time I take a trip. It would be wonderful to use a previous list as a new starting point for future trips and edit from there.
3 votesHi Robert, thanks for the idea! This is the intended purpose of the template modification function in the Premium version of PackPoint. The idea is that you would include those 20 items in the template of items, then they would automatically populate for future trips.

Great idea, but unfortunately we don’t have any plans to do this at the moment.
