Startup app in the trip that was open when the app was closed
Whenever I start the app, it assumes that I want to create a new trip and I need to navigate to Saved Trips to get back to my current trip. That’s frustrating.
The app should startup with the same trip that was active when it was closed.

I see that you’ve declined suggestions for in app help but hopefully you will see this slightly differently.
On the menu on the top right, add:
• An FAQ
• A link to this UserVoice site

Don’t check off item when the text is touched
Checking off an item should ONLY be by selecting the check box. The current ability to check by touching the text causes way too many accidental checks while scrolling. Which is made worse when checked items are then hidden. This made the app so frustrating to use.

Fix the problem with City validation hanging making the app unusable
I cant use the app due to it trying to validate the city indefinitely when creating a new trip. It just hangs.

Year for the trips, otherwise they will reappear for the set days again in the following years
A trip from last year was appearing again this year I had to delete to create a new one because it was overlapping

When i try to connect TripIt on the Iphone, after I sign in it gives me a Invalid Form Submission error

Can’t access Premium version
Figuring this out on my own since last question was ignored. Now unable to use Premium features I paid for.

Premium does not import the existing lists from my free vrsion
I upgraded to premium and now have two apps with the free version with all my data and the premium version with nothing. Surely the upgrade should just unlock the free version to premium. How do I get my lists across to the premium.

How do you sync list and app across devices? Sharing is literally a stale list printed? That’s worthless to share. Refund funds please.

Allow planing for multi-city trip
Allow planning for multicity trip, for example: 2 weeks in april In Austria (alps) and Venice in following week.

Offer a standard list if you can’t do custom. All I see is “Your packing list is being generated. Reinstalled app. Still “being generated”.
If you can’t generate a list without weather data - because it’s too far out - offer some sort of alternative instead of getting stuck on “generating list” forever.

Put new items at bottom of list
When adding new items, they should go at the bottom of the list, not the top.

Allow adding weather conditions to packing list items
Please let me add weather conditions to e.g. gloves, scarfs, sandals etc. I'd like to see them added automatically depending on seasonal conditions.

Make it easier to edit list items
At the moment I can't edit individual list items. Eg. If I want to add more detail, or I've made a spelling error. I need to delete the item and add it again. Particularly annoying for things that auto correct like iPad and iPhone change to Ipad and Iphone when you press enter.

Have previous trips in reverse order
When I start a trip plan and close the app it often goes back to the start screen so I go to the archived trips list to find it and the newest trip is at the bottom of the list. if it would be better if the most recent/current trip was at the top of the list (ie reverse trip order from what it is).

Collapse lists, reorder list items, additional icons
1) Allow user to Collapse items within a list so you can see progress across lists at a glance (e.g. collapse Toiletries, collapse Essentials...)
2) Allow user to Reorder list items within templates— I like to add items, and then re-order them later so that like things are grouped together within a list

Make Interactive Partner Sharing
I want to be able to share my list with my husband and have it update in real-time as we both pack and check items off the list. We are working together to pack and don’t want to have to share a phone or have one person looking for an item someone else packed.

Length of stay: end date OR number of nights
When creating a new trip I would appreciate the possibility to enter the date of travel end (date when I have planned to return home). The user should then be able to provide either the number of nights OR the end date of the trip.
Small UI improvement for people like me who don't like to calculate the number of nights of a (long) trip.65 votes
