Packing list sync across multiple devices
Allow me to view my packing lists on multiple devices - e.g., my phone and my tablet
We have just published an update for Android that adds this functionality. We will be publishing a similar update for iOS in the next 1-2 months.

I have the Premium version of the app on my iPhone and I’d like to access the app (without paying again) on my iPad

The Admin update is from 2016 stating 1-2 months, yet I don't see this functionality in the app

Is the backup function still not available with iOS?

Hi, I had some problemes with my android phone, so I had to do a factory reset. Unfortunately all my custom packing templates seem to be lost. How can I recover them? Thanks!

Hi!! First off, love the app!! It's helped me tremendously! The customization option is fantastic. Just want to check in on how we're looking with adding this feature to iOS? I'm upgrading phones soon and would love to be able to backup all my list customizations. Your last update here was a year ago. Would love to know how things are looking. Thanks. :)

How do we access this? When I update the packing lists on phone A... do I need to click Sync to Dropbox .. then get phone B and hit Sync (from) dropbox to get this to update?

The backup function currently in place for Android phones is invisible and automatic. We built it in a very simple way so that you don't have to interact with the backups, they just work seamlessly. Hope that helps!

I really support this feature -- in fact, I visited this site specifically so I could see if this was on your roadmap. Here's the use case: I LOVE PackPoint but several times now I've had to wipe my Android device or I got a new device and each time I lost all my archived packing lists and all the work that I've done to customize my packing templates. All I really need is a backup feature, not a synchronization feature. So perhaps someone with my use case would just use a "restore from backup" command to get back all their backed up data. Thanks!

Donwloaded PackPoint expecting it to have this feature...still waiting. Do you have an ETA on when this will be available?

Talk to the people at Pocketcast their app syncs across multiple devices by using google drive.
Couldn't you allow us to log into our google account like you do now with trip-it and do an auto-upload of the data file from device #1 to gdrive and then auto-download the data when I open PackPoint on device #2? gdrive functions as a "clearinghouse" for packing lists.
This seems to be an easy way to allowing multiple device syncing and backup.

Being able to backup the list of items and activities is essential. Losing my phone, or having to reset it, will cause me to lose my master list, curated over many trips.

I'm not so concerned about packing lists, but instead all of the work involved in curating the actives lists, which are basically my master packing list.

Hi Maciej, thanks for submitting this idea. Can you describe the use case a bit? How would you like to interact with your packing list once it is in iCloud or Dropbox?

I have a tablet and a cell phone. It would be nice to have them talk to each other. Yes, I have Evernote, and I'm playing with that, but it would be nice if I could just keep inside the program.
