Yeah I meant tailgating as in a very big party before, in our case, a professional or college football game.

Hi Emma, good question! Tailgating in the US could mean two thing - either driving too close to the car in front of you, or it could mean partying in the car park before a sporting event or a concert.

What's tailgating? In British English it's driving too close to the vehicle ahead of you!
