Option to have items disappear when checked off the list
Instead of having the check box have a check in it, perhaps a setting could be added that would also make the item disappear when it's checked off. It reduces the clutter as I scramble around the house trying to get everything into the suitcase.

Very interesting idea Robert, thanks for submitting it!
What about having checked off items go to the bottom of the list, instead of them disappearing? So that just stuff that isn't yet packed is at the top of the list.
