Fix for iOS 16
It’s closing itself after clicking customize
58 votesHi everyone, thank you for your patience. The latest version of PackPoint has been released on the App Store and should be available again for all.
If you experience any issues, I encourage you to reach out to to us at info@packpnt.com so we can continue improving the app.

Change list order...
It would be great if you could change the order of items listed. Both the standard and custom lists.
51 votesThis is now live on both Android and iPhone! :)

Categorize essentials
It would be great if we can have subcategory under the Essentials. We can categorize the items by clothing, toiletries, electronics, misc. so that we can better organize the list.
48 votesWe have split toiletries out of essentials, which has cleaned it up a good bit.

Make clothing a separate category
Many of us pack by category/ suitcase. Having clothing in its own category woulf allow added items to properly display with the rest of clothes.
I think having clothing as the first category to show also seems logical.

Allow creating my own categories
Maybe this is a premium feature and I don't have it.
45 votesPackPoint for both Android and iPhone now have “custom activities” as an option when creating a packing list. You can choose from various icons, and create a list of items that can be used on any future trip.

Release a version for iOS
Great looking app. Would love to see for iOS.
16 votesWe’ve submitted PackPoint to Apple for their review to be put in the App Store, as of July 4. We should see it approved and available sometime during the week of July 14.

Recorder items
Enable for us to reorder items. e.g. Shirts is standard item but than I add sweat shirts it puts it at the top & really should be by the shirts. Enable us to move items up & down as needed.

Restore ability
The major thing missing in this app is the ability to restore I. E. If you need to reinstall the app, get a new device, etc. Please add this feature
11 votesHi Chris, thanks for submitting this idea! We have this implemented for Android. We did have it for iPhone but Apple’s backup system is quite unreliable so we had to remove it. Bummer that it doesn’t work well on iPhone, but the Android one does seem to work well.

To Pack vs Packed
Would love to be able to sort the list into what I have already packed vs what I still need to pack.. some items can be thrown into my suitcase days before leaving (swimsuit, dresses etc) but some items are last minute (medications, toothbrush)
10 votesPackPoint’s current structure supports this functionality. Each item on the packing lists generated by PackPoint have checkboxes next to them, which are meant to checked off as you pack items into your luggage. Then the items that are not checked can be viewed as “yet to be packed”.

Make default acitivities names editable
I would like to either reuse the default activity types or create new ones with some of the default ones (the ones available are very limited).
So please either: add more icons (also those used for default acitivties, or the ones that are not used at least)
or let edit the names of the default activities. It would be also pretty cool to be able to edit misspelled positions on the lists.

suggestions
Multiple profiles: I'm packing for my kids too. Ability to cross out packed items on the summary. Ability to copy lists. Persistent custom items. I'd add the profiles at the highest level so a user can select the relevant ones for each trip. I'd display each profile as a separate tab on the summary and edit screens.
9 votesThanks a lot for the great ideas! We’ve implemented the ability to have persistent custom items. Packing for kids and copying lists is still a bit out there on our roadmap, but we’ll keep it in mind.

Filter/Grouping Collapse in Edit Page
In Edit page, if can do filter by packed/yet-packed (checked/uncheck) items it'd be great.
Allow items to be able to collapse in Group will be great for better readability too.
7 votesWe’ve released updates to PackPoint on both Android and iPhone recently that cause checked off items to fall to the bottom of the packing list so that only unchecked items remain at the top.
This isn’t exactly filtering or grouping, but hopefully it will help make managing your packing list easier.

Ability to edit and delete existing entries
Seems kind of obvious, but I can't seem to find a way of deleting or editing existing entries.
7 votesCheck out the “activities and pack items” function inside of the “Settings” or “Customize” area. Hope that helps!

Allow me to save my packing lists
So I can have multiple lists, delete them when I'm done with them, reuse them, and come back to them later.
7 votesWith version 3.2 released, PackPoint now has the ability to save a packing list, and to go back and edit that packing list at a later date.
