create events lists
I would find it useful to create a list for an event. For example I compete in cycling races every fortnight, so I would like to create a list for this event rather than for the trip. This would get round the current limitation of being unable to edit the standard activity list which I understand cannot be edited, saved and copied to multiple trips.

Import trip data from TripIt
If I already have my destinations and dates in TripIt, it would be very user friendly to import that into PackPoint.

Display "length of stay" at the one-line summary in Edit page
Currently length of stay info is not displayed on the one-line summary at top pane on Edit page (if can do the same to Summary page later as well), it'll be great if it can states how many night of stay (maybe in a bracket beside the destination, if space allowed).

Create categories that are not on the PackPoint standard list
Currently there is not an option to add a golf trip or wedding, it would be beneficial to have the ability to add your own personalized categories

Provide Evernote integration
I'd love to have a 'perfect' way to export to Evernote after I created my packing list. Suggest:
- Provide checkboxes in the note for each category of item
- Provide summary of what we selected to get to that list
- Provide the destination5 votes -
Edit "number" of item
Current function in defining the number for each item is inconvenient: user needs to remove existing item and re-add it by typing "#number <items>".
Allow user to easily edit the "number of items" on the item itself without have to go through the above hassles.

Delete categories that are never used.
You can turn off or hide categories but it would be nicer to delete ones you'll never use.

Edit custom activities
Using the Android app, I can create custom activities. However, once created I can't edit them, which greatly reduces their usefulness.

In Summary page, it now only display Packed(Checked) items. It's be great if can display uncheck items as well, i.e. when user scroll to left, it display the unpacked(uncheck) items in another/next page (somewhat), for easy/better viewing experience.

PackPoint now supports the creation of custom activities, so you can add a camping activity. :)

Add a way to hide packed items.
It clutters up the list and I’d love the feeling of accomplishment with seeing the list go down.

Option to have items disappear when checked off the list
Instead of having the check box have a check in it, perhaps a setting could be added that would also make the item disappear when it's checked off. It reduces the clutter as I scramble around the house trying to get everything into the suitcase.

Edit Packed-number of same item
Example: Item "5 shirts" but I've only packed 3 shirts, when I need to stop packing half way right there, I hope I can update it (3 shirts) to the list.

not delete data on update
would be cool if collected trips archive and custom activities didn't vanish with application updates, the app may be free but people took time to organize their stuff and it should be respected. There is nothing more irritating to open the app, read it has X new features, but unfortunately it has lost all your settings and as usable as a blank card of paper oO.
3 votesTotally agreed, and closing this one out since we’ve solved it thanks to your help. :)
